Sky phenomena observed on November 16th 1729 by Conrado Zumbach de Croesvelt, possibly above Haarlem or Leiden. Special rays, clouds, planets and stars in the sky above a lake and a village. Probably the aurora borealis. Part of an atlas with 223 maps of countries and cities and scenes of war in Europe in the period ca. 1690-1735. (Source: Rijksmuseum)
